At Unagi Foundation, we believe in the power of sharing and caring. On November 23, 2024, Unagi Foundation successfully carried out its first charity program, an initiative that was made possible with the generous support of Adiwana Unagi Suites, Unagi Wooden Villas by Emana, and Ely’s Kitchen Bali. This heartwarming event was personally led by the founders of Unagi Foundation, Bapak Bayu Dewangga and Ibu Indira Karisma, who have been the driving forces behind our commitment to social responsibility.

For this inaugural initiative, we chose to extend our support to Bali Baby House in Batubulan, a shelter dedicated to caring for abandoned and orphaned infants. This remarkable institution provides a safe and loving environment for approximately 30 babies, each with their own unique stories of hardship, stemming from various difficult circumstances faced by their parents. Recognizing the immense responsibility of providing for these little ones, we were eager to contribute in any way we could.

Understanding the essential needs of the babies under their care, Unagi Foundation provided aid amounting to IDR 7 million. This support was delivered in the form of much-needed baby supplies and equipment, ensuring that the infants receive proper nutrition, hygiene, and comfort. In addition to these physical contributions, we also extended financial assistance to help sustain the operations of Bali Baby House, allowing them to continue their invaluable work.

The day was filled with touching moments, as we interacted with the caregivers and spent time with the children. It was a humbling experience to witness the dedication and love that the caretakers provide to these little souls every day. The smiles we saw on their faces reinforced our belief that even small acts of kindness can create lasting positive change.

This event marked just the beginning of Unagi Foundation’s journey towards making a tangible difference in society. We remain committed to organizing more charitable activities in the future, ensuring that our impact reaches even further. Through collaboration, generosity, and compassion, we hope to continue bringing smiles to those in need and fostering a spirit of giving within our community.
